GRACE's Orbit

Over the course of their 5 year mission, the GRACE satellites will have Co-planar orbits at approximately 300-500 km altitude at an 89 degree Inclination.

The two satellites will be separated along their orbit track by approximately 220 km. Orbit maneuvers will be required every 30-60 days in order to maintain the separation between the satellites.
